Terms of Service — VedaScope | AI-Powered Vedic Astrology App

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the VedaScope mobile application ("App") developed and operated by Out Thinking Pvt Ltd ("Company", "we", "our", "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

VedaScope is an AI-powered Vedic astrology application that provides:

Personalized Vedic birth chart (Kundali) generation
Daily predictions, lucky numbers, lucky colors, auspicious timings, and Rahu Kaal
AI-powered astrology chatbot for personalized Q&A
Palm analysis and face analysis using AI
Compatibility check between two profiles
Daily mantras and general horoscopes for all zodiac signs
Premium astrology reports available for purchase
Multiple profile management for family and friends

3. Entertainment & Informational Purpose

Important Disclaimer: VedaScope is designed for entertainment and informational purposes only. The astrological readings, predictions, compatibility scores, palm readings, face readings, and all other content provided through the App should not be considered as professional advice (medical, financial, legal, psychological, or otherwise). We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or completeness of any astrological predictions or readings. You should not make important life decisions based solely on the information provided by this App.

4. User Accounts and Profiles

To use certain features, you must create a profile by providing accurate birth details (name, date of birth, time of birth, place of birth). You are responsible for:

Providing accurate and complete information
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account
All activities that occur under your account
Obtaining consent from third parties before adding their personal data as additional profiles

5. In-App Purchases and Payments

VedaScope offers free features and premium content (reports, extended AI consultations) available through in-app purchases. All purchases are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms and payment policies.

All prices are displayed in the App before purchase
Purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or the policies of Apple/Google
For refund requests, please contact the respective app store (Apple or Google) directly
We reserve the right to change pricing at any time

6. Subscriptions

If the App offers subscription-based services:

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings
Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription

7. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of VedaScope — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, images, software, algorithms, and design — are the exclusive property of Out Thinking Pvt Ltd and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not:

Copy, modify, or distribute any part of the App
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
Use the App's content for commercial purposes without written permission
Remove any copyright or proprietary notices from the App

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App or its systems
Interfere with or disrupt the App's servers or networks
Upload malicious content, viruses, or harmful code
Use the App to harass, abuse, or harm others
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the App
Misrepresent your identity or the identity of profiles you create

9. Palm and Face Analysis

When using the Palm Analysis or Face Analysis features:

You consent to the AI processing of your palm/face images for the purpose of generating a reading
Images are processed transiently and are not stored on our servers or within the App
You acknowledge that these readings are for entertainment/informational purposes only
You should not upload images of other individuals without their consent

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

The App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind
We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim
We are not liable for any decisions you make based on astrological content provided by the App

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Out Thinking Pvt Ltd, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of third parties.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may also terminate your account at any time by deleting the App and requesting account deletion.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
